Burna Boy has secured another major global collaboration. Colombian superstar Shakira has announced “Dai Dai” as the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, featuring the Nigerian artist. Shakira shared a one-minute teaser of the track on social media, filmed at the iconic Maracanã Stadium in Brazil.
The full song is scheduled for release on May 14, 2026. This marks Shakira’s return to World Cup anthems, following her iconic 2010 hit “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).” Burna Boy becomes the latest Nigerian artist to appear on a World Cup soundtrack, after Davido featured on the 2022 track “Haya Haya.”
