Asake has shared a striking visual teaser for his highly anticipated fourth studio album, M$NEY, which has been announced and is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026. The announcement, made through social media posts and clips circulating on April 22, 2026, features a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a marble sculpture in the artist’s likeness.

The sculpture was crafted by Iraqi-Dutch artist Athar Jabar using prestigious Statuario marble sourced from Carrara, Italy. Jabar carved the piece entirely by hand, following traditional methods without power tools, in a slow and deliberate process. In comments shared alongside the visuals, the sculptor described the responsibility of capturing someone of Asake’s recognized presence and called it an honor to contribute to this moment in the artist’s career.

The finished marble bust serves as the album’s cover art, with the teaser video showing the sculptor chiseling the large stone block in a studio setting. This artistic approach aligns with Asake’s reputation for creative and visually compelling rollouts.

M$NEY — a play on the singer’s popular nickname “Mr Money” — is expected to be a 13-track project. Already released singles tied to the album include “Worship” featuring DJ Snake, along with others such as “Why Love” and “Badman Gangsta” with Tiakola.

The upcoming album follows Asake’s previous solo projects — Mr. Money With The Vibe (2022), Work of Art  (2023), and Lungu Boy (2024) — as well as his 2026 joint EP Real Vol. 1 with Wizkid. As a YBNL signee now operating under his own imprint, Giran Republic, Asake has maintained a consistent output that blends street pop, amapiano, and high-energy Afrobeats sounds.

Reactions on X and Instagram have been largely positive, with many fans praising the sculpture as a bold statement and a physical monument to Asake’s rising cultural impact. Some posts described the rollout as “going all out,” while others speculated on the deeper meaning behind turning his image into marble.

No full tracklist or additional featured artists have been confirmed at this stage, though pre-save links for the album are already active on major streaming platforms.

Asake’s steady rise and attention to detail in both music and visuals continue to set him apart in the Afrobeats scene. With M$NEY now just days away, the project is generating considerable anticipation for what could be another significant chapter in his career.

The full details, including the official tracklist and visuals, are expected to drop as the May 1 release date approaches. Pre-save options are available on major streaming services. Click here to pre-save on your preferred music service.
