Rising artist Straffitti releases a new body of work “Molotov” after releasing a couple of teasers recently. The fast rising artist has appeared on features with M.I, Ice Prince, Blaqbonez and has never put a wrong foot out on those projects. The 13-track body of work features a mixture of popular genres with Hip-hop being the anchor of the smooth project. He is joined by similar collaborators Blaqbonez, Psycho YP, Remy Baggins, Tide, Gloyla and Titxn.

Straffitti is one of the new wave of artists not scared to go against the norm and this is largely represented on this project which features a wide range of unconventionality and nonconformism in the choice of beats, the artists featured, the contents of the songs and the artwork.  It is a reassuring breath of fresh air Nigerian Hip-hop really needs. You can go ahead and stream the project below, and I’m sure you’ll find a couple of songs that will slide into your daily playlist.

Sifon writes about African music and musicians from his dark lair which is actually a basement. In his spare time he loves making Asun and enjoying it with a cold one with 80's Nigerian high-life music playing in the background. @lifeofnofis
