Nigeria’s king of soul; Timi Dakolo has released the video for his latest single ‘Medicine’ produced by Cobhams Asuquo off his forthcoming album ‘Love and Consequences’ today; February 28, 2017.
The video; which features the artiste’s wife and children, pays tribute to wives who hold the Homefront and make all seem easy. The artiste plays a husband whose wife is off on a trip and must take care of the children. The artiste is unable to fill the vacuum left.
The hilarious video based on real events was shot by award-winning Clarence Peters.
Timi Dakolo is an award winning R&B/Soul music artist born on January 20, 1981. He hails from Bayelsa State, Nigeria and grew up in the city of Port-Harcourt, where he started his singing career at age of 12, singing in his church choir. Following his win as West African Idol first and only winner; he released his debut album titled “Beautiful Noise” in 2012, receiving great reviews for the work as well as chart successes. Timi Dakolo released another single after his debut album titled “Great Nation” which many have described as the new National Anthem of Nigeria. He is set to release his second album ‘Love And Consequences’ in 2017 and has won awards for singles off the album like ‘Iyawo Mi’ and ‘Wish Me Well’.
