The intellectual property rights to Blaqbonez’s latest diss track now belong to its target. Following a $300 transaction, rapper Odumodublvck has successfully moved to pull the song “ACL” from Spotify, Apple Music, and other major streaming services.

The Transaction and Takedown

The removal follows a series of digital receipts shared by Odumodublvck on X (formerly Twitter) today. The screenshots detail a $300 purchase of the beat’s full rights from the original producer. In his public statements, Odumodublvck framed the acquisition as both a strategic victory and a critique of Chocolate City Music’s business practices, alleging the label had attempted to underpay the producer.

ACL,” produced by Chocolate City affiliate DONTWORRYABOUTIT, was a central feature of Blaqbonez’s recent album, No Excuses. As of Thursday afternoon, the track is no longer accessible on commercial platforms. While Blaqbonez has not issued a formal response to the copyright claim, he has continued to reference the ongoing tension in recent freestyle performances.

The ‘Dollerz’ Dispute

The current legal and commercial battle is the latest escalation of a rift that began in 2024. According to Blaqbonez, the feud originated during the production of their collaboration, “Dollerz.” He alleges the relationship soured after Odumodublvck demanded 70% of the record’s revenue—a claim Odumodublvck has countered by stating the issues between the two are personal and “beyond music.”

Escalation and Legal Allegations

Beyond the commercial dispute, the rivalry has been marked by serious allegations of physical misconduct. Chocolate City Music has previously characterized Odumodublvck’s actions as a “sustained campaign of harassment,” citing several specific incidents:

  • Backstage Assaults: The label alleged a December 2025 incident at the Rhythm Unplugged concert where a staff member was reportedly headbutted and harassed.

  • Confrontations: Alleged altercations were reported at Landmark Beach in late 2024 and a Uyo hotel in March 2025, the latter reportedly involving threats and intimidation of staff.

While these claims have led to police petitions and a court summons regarding online intimidation, no final legal convictions have been publicly confirmed.

Current Status

The acquisition of “ACL” shifts the conflict from social media rhetoric into the realm of intellectual property law. With Odumodublvck continuing to utilize the hashtag #SURVIVINGCHOCOLATECITY, the move effectively blocks the commercial lifespan of the diss track. As for an official response, Chocolate City Music has yet to comment on the loss of the track’s streaming rights or the producer’s decision to sell the master beat.
