In a visualizer recently shared across his social media, fans quickly noticed the “Soweto” hitmaker adopting the signature moves and fashion style of fellow artist Mavo. Known for dropping frequent snippets himself, Mavo’s influence in the video is undeniable, leading many to speculate that Victony’s mimicry is a deliberate marketing gimmick designed to stir up online controversy and build hype.
“Fre$H!” will serve as Victony’s first solo release of 2026. The upcoming track follows a highly active run for the artist, coming off the heels of his November 2025 Very Stubborn EP—a follow-up to his widely acclaimed 2024 debut album, Stubborn. It also arrives shortly after his recent guest appearance on Priest & Shoday’s “Akonuche (Remix).
