Inspired by Nancy Ann Tappe‘s 1980s classic, Indigo Children, David Ibeh draws out a 5-track EP with the same title. The Lagos based rapper paints a picture of mixed emotions stemmed from a depressed point of view which helps the listener understand his current state of mind. Indigo Children is a smaller context of his larger pool of thoughts: a world of exploration removed from the confines of a particular method. It’s the artiste’s way of sharing the beauty in being abnormal.
