Prince, Adele, Stevie Wonder, Shania Twain, Kate Bush, Berlin and even Beyonce are probably some of the best Pop Ballad artists the music world has come to know over decades of creating beautiful music but that doesn’t stop Olisaemeka from giving his own rendition of a Pop Ballad single as seen on the Spane5-produced cut titled “Don’t Tell Me“; off his “Backseat Genius” mix-tape which is set to be released in the month of May, the budding act (formerly known as Mastah Deg) who is well known for previous releases such as the SynX-produced “One Boh,” the Cloud9ne-assisted “The Thrill” and his excellent feature on Zed O’Clock‘s “Feathers,” cuts into a somewhat out-of-the-way genre and stills comes through in flying colours. With “Don’t Tell Me” set to be the first and only single off his upcoming mix-tape, Olisaemeka sure isn’t giving away too much off this project as he expects his fans and music pundits alike to get the bigger picture upon the release of the compilation; listen up and share your thoughts.
