Finally, Ghana’s first alternative Rock band, Dark Suburb, has released the official video for “Mama” featuring vocalist, Wiyaala.

The video directed by Deon Wills captures some flooded areas and victims especially women and children affected.

The group dedicates this video to the victims of the Accra doubles disasters which occurred last year (2015). The group also dedicates this video to all women across Africa.

Released 6 months ago, the tune sang in a combination of Pidgin and the northern Ghanaian dialects of Sisaala and Waala, it celebrates mothers by recounting the struggles they go through all across Africa.
