Gbenga Samuel Timi (known as Gbangucci, born 19 April 1979) is a Nigerian born, South 

African based singer and songwriter.

After obtaining a degree in Philosophy, Gbangucci decided to follow his passion for music. He 

 

has recorded a number of songs namely, Bend down low, Baby boo nwayo, Aunty, Esselen, 

 

Booty Pumping, Aunty feat Ft. Remi Aluko (igwe),You are mine amongst others.

 

Gbangucci’s music is influenced by different experiences having travelled and lived in various 

 

countries. Due to the strong Nigerian roots and heritage, his music is classified under the Afro 

Hip Hop genre. He used multiple languages in his music which make it relevant to both local 

and international markets.  

When you listen to his music you can expect to dance to great beats, fun and well thought of 

lyrics. His great tracks are received favourably by the South African crowd.
