Jire born Olajiire Ayodeji Ajiboye bursts into the scene with his smashing song titled ‘Koko’.
jire who seems to be the youngest recording artiste to date, with this, he is set to convinently make a mark in the music scene in Africa.The new tune is an amazing fusion of Nigerian contemporary sound, Afro -Pop and groovy feel that’s sure to take over the airwaves and the clubs.
Born in July 1999 to Otunba and Mrs Biodun Ajiboye, Jire attended Onward Nursery and primary school Surulere, International school, Ibadan and Christ Rédeemers Secondary School
Speaking on his background in music, the fast rising pop stars says, ‘since i was 10 years old, I’ve always known I’ll be a professional singer, but it was tough convincing my father’.
He continues to say, ‘now that I’m done with school, my dad is seeing the prospects and he’s supporting me already, he’s also made arrangements to enrol me in music school this year so I’ll have a professional backgroud and mastery of proper music’.
With his inspiration coming from successful Nigerian acts like Brymo, Davido and Olamide, Jire says he intends to be consistent oin the industry as he plans to drop more singles in the coming week, ‘I’m in it for the long haul, I don’t just want to be a flash in the pan and with my dad’s support and hardwork I believe I’ll make him proud’
