After dropping his free EP Look What I Found with German producer DJ Papercutt, veteran lyricist Modenine is working on his 8th studio album Insulin which is going to be dropping sometime this year. Today, he releases the first single off the project My Country which features soul diva Amuta Stone and alternative soul artiste Uchie The African Rockstar. It’s a conscious record that celebrates the vibrant nature of Nigeria which is threatened by religious violence, corruption, police brutality and other forms of social injustice, It’s a vivid track which sort of encapsulates the current state of the nation and is a taste of whatto expect from his forthcoming project.
