Peres Willz real name Peres Agadaga is an AfroBeat sensation of no
mean repute. Born to the family of Mr & Mrs Chico Agadaga in Southern
Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. Peres Attended St
Barnabas Nursery School Brass, Community Primary School Ekeni,
Community Secondary School Ekeni but later went to Community Secondary
School Korokorosei all in Bayelsa State where he obtained the West
African Senior Secondary School Certificate. Peres started his musical
career at a very tender age way back in Bayelsa State. He was in the
Anglican junior Youth choir in his district where he garnered a lot of
practical musical experience. His love for sports is spot on & he is a
career driven person as well. At the moment, he is pursuing a degree
in Marketing at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, United Kingdom.
In December 2014, Peres Willz released his new single “Do like I do”
produced by Young D, who produced hit songs for the likes of Timaya,
Davido, iLLBLiSS, Chidinma, Iyanya & 2shotz. According to Peres
Willz, “Do like I do” is inspired by his life experiences over the
years and how he has been able to celebrate life, every Yuletide
irrespective of life’s challenges and want Afrobeat lovers to do the
same with his new single because to him, music is a medium to reach
the downtrodden and an avenue to ventilate your inner thoughts. His
music is influenced by Fela, 2face, Timaya, Lucky Dube, Bob Marley &
2pac.
Peres Willz has performed as a supporting act to Solidstar UK Tour
December 2014, BasketMouth Live February 2015 & Kiss Daniel UK tour
which will take place on the 26th of May. He currently works with O.Y
Productions in London, United Kingdom. He writes his songs as well as
writing for other artists. He is multi-talented and a philanthropist
in his own little way. Though he’s not signed to any record label at
the moment but the “Bad Guy from Bayelsa” won the best up and coming
artist of the year 2015 in the Prestigious International Awards UK and
indeed he’s the man to watch out for in the near future.
