In a period where artistes are becoming notorious for snubbing local media, and pushing for international publications and interviews instead, one fellow is considering documenting his story himself.
British born Ghanian music producer, Julian Nicco-Annan popularly called Juls is considering filming an autobiographical documentary of his music career this year 2020. The producer took to twitter to reveal the plans.
He wrote, One day I’ll shoot a documentary talking about my personal experiences in music, issues, challenges, battles I’ve faced. Literally everything … maybe I’ll address some things I never had as well. Think ill shoot it this year.
Juls is instrumental (pun intended) in the rise and sound of Afrobeats artiste, Mr Eazi having worked on several songs and projects. Juls also has production credit in his catalogue for international acts like Lauryn Hill, Tyler The Creator, GoldLink and a lot others. He has released studio projects, the latest tiled Colors
Another aspiration of the talented producer who is known for his signature mellow and mid tempo production style, is to turn up the tempo and create more party tunes onwards. He joked about his love rhythms initiating sexual intimacy, contributing to the exponential rise in world population,
In quote, “This year as well and probably the next few I wanna do records that make ppl dance and shake … slowing down on that slow mellow love shit. Need to curb the population increase. Too many sex songs”
