Nigerian singer, Chike in an interview session with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed he rejected a deal with Ubi Franklin’s MMMG.
Chike after coming runner up in the maiden edition of The Voice Nigeria 2016, had signed a deal with Universal Music Nigeria. However the stint fell through, and he stayed independent.
After his stint with Universal Music Nigeria he received offers from couple record labels including Ubi Franklin’s MMMG, but he rejected them all. Wishing to stay independent and push his career himself.
Ubi Franklin was supportive in his music and encouraged people to listen to his works, but he wasn’t ready to commit to any contract.
