Back in April, Nigerian Alternative pop and Afro-rockstar Blackmagic delivered a 9-track album titled Wizards Spell, which was underappreciated, under-promoted and ultimately flew below the radar of most traditional music outlets, as most people could neither connect or identify with it (personally, I never heard it). Today, he has returned to his traditional Alternative Afro-pop roots by delivering a 7-track EP titled BM.
The project is quintessentially Blackmagics and it is laced with a melodic composition of mid-tempo and dreamy vibes that characterised his first album Black Magic Version 1.0. No song on the project has an alphabetical title, rather they are all identified by numerical codes after which they have been named. Check it out below.
