The song was crafted specifically as a coping mechanism to deal with the loss of her parents and offers the singer an opportunity to derive some form of closure, release and reflection from a song that was named after her late father. Co-written with British-Nigerian songwriter Moelogo, the track which was produced by Piano P is an emotionally charged ballad that has her interchanging between the English and Yoruba languages in spectacular fashion. It was released alongside an accompanying music video that was shot and directed by Unlimited LA.
